R&C Client Opens Two New Innovative Developments

R&C client the Huntsville Housing Authority (HHA) recently opened two new developments with a new approach to public housing, Chestnut Glen and Legacy Hill. Both developments are 40 unit non traditional public housing that allows working families to live in a low poverty neighborhood. The goal of the developments is to assist residents of Huntsville who are employed and looking to move on from public housing. Each family that moved in is required by lease to leave after five years, which will allow the units to open up to other working families. The hope is that developments like these will help break generational poverty and serve as a helpful hand to working families looking to move out of government subsidized housing. R&C's Julie McGovern represented HHA in these development transactions.
