R&C Seeking Two New Associates

Please see our open positions for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate and an Affordable Housing and Community Development Law Associate.These positions may be located in any of our three offices.

Reno & Cavanaugh, PLLC, a national law firm focused on real estate, finance, affordable housing, and community development, is seeking a commercial real estate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience for its Nashville, TN, Washington, DC, or Columbia, MD office.

Qualifications: We are interested in candidates with 2 to 5 years of law firm experience in commercial real estate transactions with a strong working knowledge of real estate law and strong academic credentials. Experience in some or all of the following is preferred: development, finance, land use, leasing, joint ventures, corporate law, and/or tax law. Candidate must have:

◾accomplished interpersonal skills
◾excellent oral and written communication skills
◾effective organizational and analytical skills
◾attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects

Candidate must have demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating real estate documents.

Reno & Cavanaugh, PLLC, a national law firm with offices in Washington, DC, Nashville, TN and Columbia, MD, is also seeking an associate with experience in affordable housing and community development law to be located at any of its offices.

Qualifications: We are interested in candidates with demonstrated experience in real estate development including affordable housing and community development, strong academic credentials, and particular experience in some or all of the following areas of law: tax law, including low-income housing, historic, new markets and energy tax credits, subsidized housing, including HUD-assisted housing and public housing mixed-finance redevelopment; real estate development and finance; economic development; corporate and partnership law; and, fair housing.
