Jaqee Adams

Jaqee Adams is an associate whose practice focuses on multifamily affordable housing development and finance with a focus on projects involving public-private partnerships with various financing sources such as tax-exempt bonds, tax credits, state and federal grants, federally insured loans, and conventional loans. Clients Jaqee works with include non-profit developers, for-profit developers, and public housing authorities. 

Jaqee also works with clients on various HUD transactions including Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Assignments, Transfers of Physical Assets, RAD for PRAC submissions, and HAP Renewals.

Prior to entering law school, Jaqee worked for several non-profit organizations and government agencies whose focus was on creating and financing affordable housing:

Selected Recent Transactions

  • Assisted in closing on the land acquisition and financing of a new affordable multifamily development to include 200 plus units with public and private financing in excess of $60,000,000, which included bond, private funds, and a state grant.
  • Assisted in closing on the acquisition of an established project, the assumption of the USDA Rural Development loan, financing of a new USDA Rural Development loan, and the addition of a tax credit equity partner for the rehabilitation of an elderly/disabled multifamily development with financing and equity contributions in excess of $7,000,000.00.
  • Submitted and gained approval for numerous HAP Assignment and HAP Renewal submissions to HUD at various HUD Offices including in Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Missouri, and Puerto Rico.
